From Russia with Love
Russia is one of my favorite places in the world. I love Russian literature, marvelous art, Beautiful language and there fantastic history.

Pavlovo Posad shawls, produced in the ancient Russian town Pavlovsky Posad.
This fine box with a cover is executed in one of the traditional styles of Russian northern hand painting. Intricate patterns combining flowers, leaves, birds, animals and people were widespread in the applied art of Russia
This elegant candlestick has been created by Russian Khokhloma craftsman. Original technique of «golden-painted» wooden articles mastered by age-old practice is still retained up to the present. Classic combination of gold, cinnabar and black assumed as basis in Khokhloma color scheme, folk masters tactfully add with brown, yellow and green.
Grey Valenki with Ribbon.
Valenki are the traditional Russian winter footwear. Valenki literally means, “made of felt”. Valenki are made of wool felt.
This lovely porcelain plate is decorated with a fanciful red cockerel, a folk motive widely spread in Russia. It has been handcrafted at the Lomonosov (Imperial) Porcelain Factory founded in 1744 in St. Petersburg by decree of Empress Elizabeth, Peter the Great’s daughter. It became the first enterprise in Russia and the third in Europe.
This matryoshka (nestling doll) is decorated by means of incrustation. It is the one of the oldest technique of decoration
This lovely box has been hand painted by Russian craftsmen in the best traditions of the Russian Folk art style called Gorodets.
